LTris 1.3 Released
Sun, 03 Mar 2024 17:30:43 -0000

I significantly enhanced the CPU algorithm: It last a lot longer, will try to actively complete three or four lines if playing aggressive and uses hold for modern style. I'm not the worst player but I cannot beat it anymore on regular speed. But it's a lot of fun to play anyway! And of course, you can adjust it the other way around as well and slow it down (speed factor allows 75% or 50%) or increase its soft drop delay.

LTris 1.2.8 Released
Sat, 17 Feb 2024 14:39:38 -0000

This release fixes a bug in multiplayer where receiving and simultaneously clearing lines caused "bad empty lines". Also, another bug, that caused pieces at very high speed to tunnel through other pieces, has been fixed. And finally, an option has been added to adjust CPU speed for multiplayer which makes it quite more challenging and fun to play against the CPU. Of course, the algorithm itself could need some tweaking, but it's a start.

LBreakoutHD 1.1.6 Released
Sat, 20 Jan 2024 12:09:26 -0000

This provides a number of minor fixes and enhancements: russian translation by Olesya, workaround for potential fullscreen flickering on game start by Alex, typo fixes by Jorge, thanks! Also, only p unpauses a game to allow switching windows and you can use 1920x1080 window mode on 1080p (window gets cut off a little, of course).

LBreakoutHD 1.1.5 Released
Sat, 02 Dec 2023 11:53:43 -0000

Thanks to Jorge, there is now a Spanish translation and some typos were fixed. Also, I've added gettext support for confirmation keys, so it's no longer hardcoded to y for yes and n for no but can be localized in the respective po files.

LBreakoutHD 1.1.4 Released
Sat, 23 Sep 2023 11:05:26 -0000

I fixed some issues with non-16:9 monitors and in the editor shrink/expand paddle is no longer switched.

Also I read the GNU manuals about icons and fixed the way icons are installed. However, I don't see an app icon in Ubuntu! So if anyone is an expert on icons in Linux, maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. According to the standard it should be properly located...

LTris 1.2.7 Released
Tue, 05 Sep 2023 09:00:42 -0000

Some minor fixes for the configuration process: Cross compiling should work again, icons are installed properly and the obsolete intl directory has been removed.

LPairs 2.3 Released
Fri, 28 Jul 2023 16:56:56 -0000

Since playing standard games alone is a bit boring I've added a new single player mode called 'Survivor' which is a lot more fun (at least for me). You play as long as possible while set sizes increase up to 10x7 after each successful clearance. For each matched pair you get one point, completing a stage adds some bonus points. The game ends when you made more mistakes than you gained score. So theoretically you can play endlessly, hence the name. Gets really difficult though at some point. But it's fun, so give it a try!

LPairs 2.2.1 Released
Sat, 10 Jun 2023 08:59:45 -0000

Themes can now have an ini file. So far with only one option to set the motif size relative to the card size. Doesn't do anything for the default theme since it's uses the default values. But I've added a theme.ini for the additional theme CrystalRemix (can be downloaded from the themes section) so its icons have a better size.

Barrage 1.0.7 Released
Mon, 05 Jun 2023 09:28:16 -0000

Minor update: Only one screenshot is now generated when pressing TAB (input delay was missing) and some configure issues were fixed, e.g., config.guess has been updated and compile has been added.

LBreakoutHD 1.1.3 Released
Fri, 12 May 2023 15:02:41 -0000

Hiscores are now saved for the windows port. Somehow destructing the client game object does not work properly in windows but with this workaround at least the hiscores get saved. Also I removed the intl directory from the source since the latest gettext version only supports external libintl (either in libc or as library).
